Neutral Wardrobe Colors 

Opt for timeless and neutral wardrobe choices that complement the natural beauty of the beach surroundings. Avoid matching outfits with other family members, as well as graphic tees and shocking neon colors. However, soft Pastel Colors, earthly hues, or classic white outfits can enhance the overall aesthetic of your photos and create a cohesive look for your family. Light Makeup and Accessories

Keep hair and makeup natural and light to maintain a fresh and effortless appearance.  Even though I embrace simplicity in photography portraits, however, subtle makeup enhancement and wearing jewelry can elevate the family’s look without empowering the serene beach setting. I always encourage my clients, especially the moms to treat themselves before the photo session by getting their nails for example. Also, add some pieces of jewelry that complement your look and style as a family. 

Take it Easy 

I always encourage my clients to just relax and enjoy the moment during the photo session. Photographing with kids at the beach is more fun and less stressful. With my goal to capture genuine smiles and real emotions, kids can be playful and silly with candid interactions among family members resulting in authentic and heartwarming photographs. As a mom photographer, I understand that kids have boundaries and I respect that, however, my approach to photographing them is gentleness and I use a reward system strategy.
